A double room (about 30m2 together): a cosy bright and sunny kitchen/living and a seperate sleeping room for one person about ten kilometres south of the city of Groningen. The rooms are fully furnished and all the needed equipment is available including bedsheets and towels. It is inside an authentic house from 1910. You will have the possibility to park your car for free on the terrain or stow your bike in a shed. The house is surrounded by a private garden in which you will have your own seat. You can prepare a meal in your own roomusing a double cooking pit and an oven/microwave. Besides the two rooms you may use the hall (2 sq. meters) in front including a small refrigerator, the oven/microwave and bidet. You will share the bath room, 2 sq. meters, including a shower and a sink with another tenant (if there is one). An additional service: We wash your cloths weekly in our washing machine if you want. The supermarket is 50 metres from here which is usually opened from 8 to 8. At sundays from 1 to 5. Besides that a bakery, butcher and several restaurants are within walking distance. A luxurious sauna/spa complex and outdoor swimming pool is nearby. A direct bus connection to Groningen centre, usually every 10 minutes and in the morning a direct bus to Zernicke University and ‘Hanze hogeschool’ stops about 5 minutes’ walk makes Groningen easily accessible. Also the hospital, UMCG, can easily be reached from here. Groningen centre takes about 30; Zernicke university about 10 minutes more. Be aware of the following: - We have tree lovely cats. The walk in and out. So if you have a cat-allergy the room is less suitable. - The hight of the ceiling is below standard. This means that some parts of the rooms you cannot stand straight up . For people over 1.80 m the appartement is less suitable. - Our house is just outside the city of Groningen in a small and quiet village.
