Beautiful Water view room available in a quiet two story town home located on the sea wall in False Creek Central Vancouver near Granville Island and Downtown Vancouver. Only a 5 minute walk to Granville Island and a 20 minute walk to downtown or a 10 minute bus ride to downtown. Granville Island is a full of all kinds of vendors that sell everything from fruits & vegetables, to fresh seafood and baked goods. There is a local Brewery where you can sample some of the best Micro Beers in the world. All kinds of great restaurants & Pubs with live entertainment, plus the Arts Club Theatre where you can see all kinds of different performances, plays, musicians Etc. Enjoy Street performers, musicians, and check out glass blowing. There is an Art school there (Emily Car) as well as a Culinary Arts School (Chef school) where you can sample the students full course meals by reservation for a much lower price than what a traditional restaurant would charge. There is an Aqua Bus (water boat) that will take you anywhere in the harbor, across to downtown and English Bay. You can even take the train to the north end of downtown then the Seabus (which is part of the transit system) over to the Lonsdale Key market in North Vancouver. Honestly this is the best location to be in Vancouver. You are close to everything and there are bus stops within one block that will take you anywhere you need to go quickly and easily. The Sky train station is only a ten minute walk from here which can take you to and from the airport in approximately 30 minutes and downtown within minutes. I currently only have the water view room available. The Basement room is currently rented out. The Water View room comes with a beautiful view of False Creek, Granville Island, Downtown, a small harbor with boats and of course the Sea wall. The view is spectacular which you can see in the pictures. It comes fully furnished with a Closet / Wardrobe, Desk and chair that faces the window, with a high quality solid memory foam Queen sized bed with clean sheets, pillows/cases and blankets for some incredibly comfortable sleeps. The room is also equipped with a Lamp, a mirror and a Sony Mini/ Multimedia Stereo/CD Player/AM-FM radio. Both rooms include the use all common areas including use of Fridge, Stove, Dishes, Pots/pans, Utensils, TV, Bathroom, Hair-dryer, and Laundry Facilities/Washer & Dryer. Also included is Free High Speed Internet, Free Netflix that you can watch on a large screen TV with a high quality surround sound system, which can also be used to play CDs or watch DVDs or just listen to the radio. When visiting Vancouver I highly recommend staying near Granville Island as it really is the best place to get a real flavor of true Vancouver life.
