The room is located on the second floor, at the back side of the house, containing a large window with a view over the garden. This room is equipped with a premium quality box-spring bed and also with the facilities that are needed in order to study. Also, the room features a small additional space that can be used as a walk-in closet or as a storage room. We provide you with all the facilities necessary, from towels and bedding to the entire kitchen equipment, so that you are able to directly move into your Utrecht home, without bringing anything other than your clothing and a toothbrush! The private entrance is situated on the ground floor. When you enter the apartment, a staircase will lead you upstairs to the first floor where the hallway gives access to all rooms. On your left, you will find the first bathroom, which is fully tiled and contains a shower and a toilet. Furthermore, this floor has two bedrooms at the back side of the house and two at the front side. The staircase to the second floor will lead you straight to the second, fully tiled bathroom, containing a shower. A restroom, containing a toilet, is located to the left of the staircase. This floor also contains two bedrooms at the back side of the house, one at the front side and the main kitchen. When you enter the kitchen you will find all the kitchenware and equipment, such as an oven, microwave, large fridge and an induction hob, which is intended for your use only. Additionally, in here, washing and drying facilities are available for your use. Furthermore, the kitchen area contains a large window with a street view. All walls and ceilings in the apartment are painted white, whilst all floors contain warm wood-colored laminate flooring, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. To sum things up: this brand-new fully furnished apartment offers you well-equipped and modernly designed rooms for a comfortable stay in Utrecht! Location: Located at a charming cobbled square in the popular neighbourhood called ‘Muntkwartier’, this newly renovated, two-storey apartment is housed in a row of historic buildings on the Krugerstraat; a peaceful street close to Utrecht’s city centre! On the way to the centre you will come across many supermarkets, retail stores, market shops, cafes and restaurants. Also, the apartment is only a 10 minute walk away from Utrecht Central Station, or 5 minutes on bike. The university is not far also, only a 10 minute bus ride from Utrecht Central Station. Shared responsibility: We have a shared responsibility regarding the residence’s maintenance. We deliver a clean room with all the furniture you need, therefore we expect you to handle this with care. Once a week, a cleaning service will stop by to take care of the regular cleaning tasks in the common areas. We do this because we are aware of the fact that you are rather busy doing other things in this wonderful country and we want to make sure that we keep up with our high standards inside the residences. However, you do need to take out the garbage, do the dishwashing and maintain your own room. Finance: The price includes: gas, water, electricity, Internet, Netflix (if available) and city hall taxes. Check in/out date: as stated in the contract, the rental period starts either on the 1st day of the month or on the 17th (2nd half) of the month. This means that if you, for example, book a room for the 3rd of February onwards, your contract will start on the 1st of February. By all means, the tenant may move in on the starting date of the lease. The monthly rental fee includes (fixed) advance payments for water, gas and electricity charges. If you do not overuse the electricity, then you will not have to pay extra. However, if the consumption of energy is higher than the standard, then you will be responsible for the additional fee. Please keep in mind that all check-in appointments shall be carried out only on Monday to Saturday between 9AM and 9PM local time; it is not normally possible to check-in on Sundays or on generally recognised Dutch holidays. If you would like to live in Utrecht and you just want to pack your essentials in order to instantly move into the apartment, well then this is your place to be! Please note, despite all photos being of the actual room you will be booking, rooms may deviate slightly from pictures shown above in regards to sizing and decoration.
