The bathroom has a walk-in shower, a hand-wash basin and a toilet. The combined living-sleeping area contains a decent extendable 4 persons bamboo dining table. Furthermore, this room contains a smart 4k TV (including Netflix), some storage space and a comfortable queen-sized box spring bed, which is placed at the back-end. We provide you with all the facilities necessary, from towels and bedding to the entire kitchen equipment, so that you are able to directly move into your Utrecht home, without bringing anything other than your clothing and a toothbrush! Location: It really is a top-notch location! The studio is located in a studio-apartment complex, in the neighbourhood ‘Wittevrouwensingel’, which is one of the most popular and exclusive neighbourhoods in Utrecht’s city centre. Retail stores, restaurants and cafes, which add to the vibrancy of Utrecht’s city centre, surround the studio apartment. One side of the this street runs along the ‘Stadsbuitengracht’ canal, on the other side you will see an old jail called ‘Penitentiaire Inrichting Wolvenplein’, which has been turned into a unique concept called ‘The Free Wolf’, which organizes sports events, tours dining experiences and it even has an escape room! The apartment is only a 15 minute bus ride, 20 minute walk or under 10 minutes by bike from Utrecht Central Station, and the University is even closer, under 15 minutes walking, 10 minutes by bus, or 5 minutes by bike, that remains your choice: the more expensive way or the authentic Dutch way. Shared responsibility: We have a shared responsibility regarding the residence’s maintenance. We deliver a clean room with all the furniture you need, therefore we expect you to handle this with care. Finance: The price includes: gas, water, electricity, Internet, Netflix (if available) and city hall taxes. Check in/out date: as stated in the contract, the rental period starts either on the 1st day of the month or on the 17th (2nd half) of the month. This means that if you, for example, book a room for the 3rd of February onwards, your contract will start on the 1st of February. By all means, the tenant may move in on the starting date of the lease. The monthly rental fee includes (fixed) advance payments for water, gas and electricity charges. If you do not overuse the electricity, then you will not have to pay extra. However, if the consumption of energy is higher than the standard, then you will be responsible for the additional fee.
